[Nexus9Kv] LLMは構成図と概要説明だけでIPv6 Unnumbered eBGPコンフィグを自動生成してくれるのか? その2:追加コンフィグ編
前回の続きです。
前回は、NX-OSで「All IPv6 Unnumbered eBGP(RFC5549/8950)のSpine/Leaf 3台構成」のコンフィグをLLMに作成してもらいました。
ただ、前回作成した構成はL2VNI構成だったため、LLMに助けてもらいながらL3VNI構成に変更してみたいと思います。
構成情報とプロンプト
前回の振り返りですが、ベースの構成は以下の通りとなります。

- アンダーレイ:IPv6 unnumbered eBGP
- オーバーレイ:IPv6 unnumbered eBGP VXLAN EVPN
- L2VNI:30000

コンフィグを入れてみたが・・・
作成されたコンフィグは雰囲気としては良さそうです。
しかしそのまま入力したところ、さっそくVRF配下の route-target import/export auto が弾かれました。
auto を利用する場合は、 both コマンドが必要なようです。
そしてboth コマンドを追加して入力し直したのですが、今度は両者間のPingが通りません。
各種ステータス確認は割愛しますが、ルーティングテーブルを確認すると、L3VNIを設定したにもかかわらずお互いのセグメントのホスト情報が載っていませんでした。
よく考えてみると、BGP上のroute-targetが特定の値になっているにもかかわらずimport/export auto を使っていたため、VRFのルーティングテーブルへの取り込みがうまくいかなかったようです。
このあたりはLLMからは指摘されませんでした。してくれたらなー、と思いつつ、プロンプトが雑すぎたのかもしれません。
その後、LLMと会話しながらaddress-familyにIPv6も追加してもらいました。また、e1/7配下の機器ではIPv4しか確認できなかったため、IPv6の通信確認用にe1/5へ新たにデバイスを接続しています。
修正後のコンフィグ
IPv6確認用の端末も接続して、最終的に出来上がった構成とコンフィグがこちらです。

今回はL2VNIとは異なり、両者ルータ間でIPv4/IPv6ともに通確認が取れました。
まとめ
今回の追加コンフィグも、普通に調べながら作成するとそれなりに時間がかかる内容だと思います。
しかし、LLMを使うことで、追加コンフィグのベースをかなり短時間で作成できました。
もう少し丁寧にプロンプトを書けば、さらに精度も上がりそうです。LLMはネットワークエンジニアにとっても、かなり強い味方になりそうだと感じました。
